Speakers
Marc Granger has been Chief Strategy Officer since 2017. His role is to set up the company’s strategic plan and to drive its deployment across the organisation. This includes the design and management of Alstom’s innovation strategy and activities, and the structuring of the company’s M&A strategy.
Prior to this, Marc was CEO of Gibela, Alstom’s South African joint venture responsible for the delivery and introduction of 600 modern trains onto the country’s rail network. In this capacity, he successfully led negotiations for a €5 billion rolling stock and maintenance contract with PRASA, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa. From 2005 to 2010, Marc was CEO of the Compin Group. Marc began his career with Alstom in 1985, gaining extensive experience in product design, marketing, project tenders and management. He notably led the Rolling Stock business of Alstom Transport from 1999 until 2005, as a Senior Vice President and member of the Executive Committee. Marc is a graduate of Arts et Métiers ParisTech and HEC Paris
Evandro Gussi is the president and CEO of the Brazilian Sugarcane and Bioenergy Industry Association (UNICA).
He oversees an organization dedicated to providing clean, renewable and natural energy in the form of sugar, biofuels, bioelectricity, and biomaterials. Previously, Dr. Gussi was Comptroller General of the Brazilian House of Representatives. He was elected to Congress in 2014 (2015-2019 term) and served as his Party Chief Whip from 2016 to 2017.
Dr. Gussi was the author of the “RENOVABIO” Act, a landmark Brazilian legislation to increase the use of biofuels, helping the nation meet its ambitious goals to cut greenhouse gases and live up to its Paris commitments.
Dr. Gussi has a S.J.D. in Law from the University of São Paulo Law School (2009) and received a Master’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2005).
Mino Yamamoto is currently Corporate Strategy Director at Valeo.
After her Engineering Degree at French Ecole Polytechnique, Mino joined Parrot in 2014 where she led several projects in consumer drones. In 2017, she joined Valeo’s Powertrain System Business Group where she held different positions in Product Marketing and R&I to prepare the future of 48V electrification and steer the innovation roadmap. In 2020, she joined the Corporate Strategy Department. In particular, she worked on Valeo’s Decarbonization Roadmap, CAP 50, disclosed in 2021, and is currently championing the Group’s circular economy initiatives
Elisabeth oversees projects that are delivered upon the request of member countries or partner organisations. Her team focuses on the work carried out under the ITF’s
Decarbonising Transport initiative and oversees projects focusing on transport decarbonisation pathways for the European Union, Latin America and emerging economies.
Previous to joining ITF in 2017, Elisabeth worked for private firms in London and Hong Kong on the planning of new infrastructure projects and transport policy assessments. She holds a PhD in Transport Economics from Paris-East University (Ecole des Ponts) and an
MSc in Civil Engineering (Transport Planning) from Delft University of Technology.
