Solar panels will cover Parking lots in France
The French Senate has voted to require solar panels to cover all parking lots with a minimum of 80 spaces in France. This measure is expected to nearly double the amount of solar power on France’s grid.
What is most interesting is the relationship between these panels and the electric cars that will park under them, this initiative will be a great help for the charging infrastructure deployed on the French territory and will encourage the use of electric vehicles that can be recharged while parked in the parking lots, an ideal situation that would also be a more economical way to stock up in times of surplus supply.
