Uruguay will add 10 new charging stations to its electricity grid

UTE (The National Administration of Power Plants and Electrical Transmissions) and the Municipality of Florida in Uruguay signed an agreement that will enable the installation of 10 new charging stations.

The number of supply points for electric vehicles will increase from 87 to 122 throughout the country, the investment for each supply point will be between 10,000 and 30,000 dollars and all the chargers  will be installed by the end of December 2021

UTE’s objective is to cover all its 19 national territories with a charging station every 50 kilometers by 2022

This initiative will improve the mobility of transport lines and the charging of electric vehicles
