Porto provided 12 electric charging stations (PCE) for automobiles in eight different locations within the city. Companies like EDP Commercial and others are the operators in charge of managing the car electric charging stations, distributed throughout the city.

In recent years, the Municipality of Porto has invested in the electric mobility sector, both in terms of the acquisition of electric vehicles for its fleets as well as promoting initiatives.
